West Bengal Police has officially denied claims that the father of a CJP activist was subjected to a brutal physical assault in Bankura. The police stated that the deceased, Janab Mafik, sustained only a minor injury during an incident on August 13. Following the incident, Mafik was admitted to Burdwan Medical College on August 15 for blood pressure issues and passed away that night. Authorities have arrested eight individuals in connection with the case, while CJP delegates have visited the family to demand further arrests.
