West Bengal Sets Up Control Room for Indians Stranded in Nepal Floods

The West Bengal Government has established a 24/7 emergency control room in Kolkata to track and assist state residents stranded by flash floods and landslides in Nepal. Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari confirmed the administration is coordinating with the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu to verify the status of missing visitors. Among those affected is actor Kharaj Mukherjee, who remains stranded with his film crew after travelling for a shoot on August 20. The state police have released dedicated help desk numbers, 033-24793311 and 9147890181, to support families seeking information.
