Withings Imposes $99 Annual Fee for Third-Party Apple Health Sync

Withings has announced that customers who create an account on or after October 13, 2026, must purchase a Withings+ subscription to enable automatic syncing of health data to third-party apps, including Apple Health. In the United States, the Withings+ subscription costs $99.50 per year. Users who created their accounts on or before October 12, 2026, will continue to receive automatic third-party data syncing for free. Because the policy applies strictly to the account creation date, existing customers who purchase new smart scales or other Withings devices remain unaffected. The company manufactures smart scales and other health tracking hardware.
