Yogi Adityanath Inaugurates Upgraded Nepalganj Road-Bahraich Rail Section

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw inaugurated the newly converted broad-gauge and electrified Nepalganj Road-Nanpara-Bahraich rail section on Monday. The 56.15-km project was completed at a cost of approximately Rs 730 crore. The upgrade includes the extension of four train services to Nepalganj Road, significantly improving connectivity for residents in the Bahraich, Rupaidiha, and Nepalganj areas. The original metre-gauge line was constructed in 1886, and officials stated the new infrastructure integrates the region into the national railway network.
