· World · Al Jazeera, CBS News, NDTV
Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store revealed that an airplane carrying Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was almost struck by a drone while taking off from Moldova. Zelenskyy arrived in Oslo on Tuesday evening to attend the funeral of Norway’s King Harald V. During his visit, Zelenskyy held talks with Store and met with defence industry executives to discuss advancing a European anti-ballistic system named FREYJA. The discussions focused on dividing responsibilities between governments and defence companies to achieve practical results from the programme. Meanwhile, Ukrainian regional officials reported that at least eight people were killed in Russian attacks on Wednesday along the Ukraine-Moldova border and in the southeast.
