Zenzap Raises $44M for Workplace AI Chat App
· Technology · TechCrunch
Zenzap has raised $44 million in funding from investors including Bessemer, Lightspeed, The Garage, Wix President Nir Zohar, and former EY general manager Yoram Tietz. Founded in 2022 by Guy Weiss alongside co-founders Noam Neumann and Jonatan Bien, the company builds a private workplace messenger that integrates AI tools while complying with corporate IT and security rules. The platform targets a wide range of industries such as healthcare, hospitality, construction, and fast food. The app offers a free tier with group chats, direct messages, task management, calendar integration, and AI-powered voice chat and search. Paid plans start at $51 per month for up to 20 users, unlocking video calls, smart task sorting, workflow automation agents, and call transcriptions.
Why it matters
The funding helps Zenzap scale its workplace communication platform for businesses that cannot use consumer apps like WhatsApp due to security and IT compliance regulations.
